"I first made ceramics in school at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and in my twenties as a studio potter at Pottery NW in Seattle. After this first stint making pots, I had a rewarding 30+ year career as an architectural lighting designer in Seattle, Hong Kong, and New York City. In Fall of 2020, I made the leap back to my first love, ceramics. I am thrilled to be able to be a maker and to work with clay.
I hope to create ceramics that provide joy, whimsy, use, and meaning. I appreciate handmade crafts and strive to contribute my work to the ongoing rich history of handmade ceramics.
